Why Choose Us for Your Dog’s CCL Surgery?

Experienced Surgeons Without Specialty Prices

Dr. Josh Barkman performs CCL (also called ACL) repairs every week, and we consistently help dogs return to normal mobility with excellent outcomes.

Referral centers 1–2 hours away commonly charge $4,000–$7,000 for ACL repairs.
Our procedures are typically $1,975-$2,250, depending on size.

High Surgical Success Rates

We follow evidence-based surgical techniques and provide full post-operative support.

Fast Appointments

Most dogs can be seen for a consult within 24–48 hours.

We strive to schedule your surgical repair within 5 days to get your dog back to walking on all 4 ASAP.

If you are traveling from a distance, we will do our best to schedule surgery for the same day as your consult.

Honest, Upfront Pricing

No surprise bills. You receive a complete estimate at your consult.

CCL Symptoms

CCL tears are one of the most common orthopedic injuries in dogs.
Common signs include:

  • Sudden limping or toe-touching

  • Difficulty rising

  • Sitting with the leg out to the side (“lazy sit”)

  • Worsening lameness after exercise

  • Clicking/popping in the knee

  • Not bearing weight after running or jumping

If your dog shows any of these signs, we can help.

Frequently Asked Questions

Do you offer payment plans?

Yes — we accept CareCredit.

Is X-raying required before surgery?

Not always. Your surgeon will guide you.

How soon can we schedule surgery?

We strive to schedule surgery as soon as possible. Corrective surgery immediately following the injury provides the best outcome. We typically schedule within just a few days after your consult. If you are traveling from a distance, please call us. We can commonly accommodate same day consult and surgery.

Do you repair both knees if needed?

Not at the same time – If both knees are injured the surgeries are typically staged 6 weeks apart.
